So here it is!

I noticed that I used more broad/larger patterns, as opposed to most people in the class who used very tedious patterns…and lots of them. I dunno.

I really like this! Is it possible that you still have the information on what the assignment was? Id like to use this idea for my own students.

Oh man, I can’t believe this blog is still findable…haha…
What I have written down is pretty scant, but it was like this:
-Each box is 5″x8″ (if you wanted to know that)
-We were to cut out a shape from a magazine and utilize that as a stencil. They were backed up with cardboard so they wouldn’t get ripped and stuff.
-In each box, we were to put down outlines of the stencils, however many we felt would make a good composition.
-In each area we had to put down “patterns”. As you can see, each box had to be contained within itself, so there were no spreading of the patterns to other boxes.
My patterns were soooo not complicated. A couple of my friends were in the class with me and theirs were extremely intricate and eye-blowing. It all came down to, well, what each person did and how they felt best to executeit.
This is about all I can think of and put into cohesive words.. I hope it helps!
